Visionary Alex Maxx needed more than your typical logo to brand his new revolutionary app that makes filing taxes easy. His team already had a name that stood out: Death and Taxes. What was missing was the ability to convey the name visually in an edgy, yet professional manner. Using the simple outline of a skull and the glyphs of a math percentage sign, we achieved the goal. It formed the graphic details enough to convey the idea, but without looking too gory. After creating the handmade logo, we intergarated color and fonts to give a professional look while still retaining the "cool factor." The result? A fresh new brand that appeals to everyone from the seasoned, stuffy accountant and the manic millennial.
