At the core of patterns lies the beauty of repetition. This is visible in nature where patterns are found in everything from a perfectly formed and fragile flower to the intricate and microscopic cellular composition of an organ.

Creating a design pattern is art imitating life, and It can evoke emotions of stability, peace and balance just because of its predictability. Of course, the message contained within its predictability will have equal or greater ability to play on emotion. When working on a pattern, some of the greatest satisfaction the artist may derive is the subtlety of its influence. It may be just a whisper, so it's pretty cool what it can accomplish.
